What I wore Monday: Vintage pleats and mustard cardi

Monday already.

How’s this for a faux pas. In my last 3 posts I’ve been wearing the same golden/mustard colour yellow. Not only that, but the same cardi has been featured twice in a row! Can I help it if I think mustard yellow co-ordinates well with everything?

Anyways, this is a complete remix as you’ve seen this skirt before. I thought I better get one last wear in before the weather starts changing (a long wool pleated skirt just isn’t fun to wear during summer… although this being NZ, we could have another 3-4 months of cold/rain/wind ahead, you really don’t know). I love how well the skirt goes with the ‘new’ thesis hand-in boots. And I’m managing to get another wear out of these nice black floral tights which have several holes (but not enough to be thrown out?)… fortunately none are visible with this combo. Score for me!

Also, despite the cloudless blue sky, green grass and obvious sun, the very bare tree is the testament to ‘winter’ still hanging around.

cardi: my ex-work, top: my ex-work, necklace: online coupon thingy, skirt: thrifted (vintage), boots: Jeffrey Campbell Showpony (from Nasty Gal)

Full sun = super bright colours!

  1. Best skirt everrrrrr ❤ Of course, you already know my feelings about those boots. I feel the same way about all of your shoes. Haha. ❤
