On the radio…

As I mentioned earlier this week – well, yesterday actually, now that I think about it [Hmm…  it seems a long time away – I must have been busy between then and now] I was on the radio here in Dunedin.  If you want to hear me talk about my PhD, click here and listen from 23:51.

I haven’t actually listened to it myself – I mean, I was there, right?  And listening to yourself talk is nearly as painful as watching yourself on video.  I must also say that I’m not terribly eloquent (which, you may be surprised by considering the amazing prose that my blog is composed of…  Ha.  Haha.  Hahahaha).  But, there you go.  Enjoy!

  1. I’m going to be honest, I just wanted to hear what you sound like, so I was like, what the hell. Let’s see what this is all about. Haha. I ended up listening to the whole thing, though, like the nerd that I am. It was really interesting and informative. Oh and you don’t sound bad at all. You were easy to follow and quite articulate, IMO.

    • Thank you so much for the kind words! I totally would have done the same – I mean, once you start following someone’s blog, and see a lot of photos – its natural to be curious what they sound like as well. Glad you thought it was interesting! : D

  2. Becca, you did GREAT!! Loved it! The interview was very interesting and you were very clear and well spoken. And now I can more clearly answer my friends who ask, “What exactly is her PHD focusing on regarding socks?”

Anyway, get going on that PHD!! Back home we’re already discussing a December trip to Dunedin!!!
